Listen Labs is hiring a Lead GTM Engineer to work directly with the Head of Growth and scale Listen from current ARR to the next order of magnitude — a technical, systems-oriented, energetic operator who builds the outbound backbone hands-on and treats no task as too small.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Design and build scalable systems for prospecting, enrichment, and outreach, owning the technical backbone of the outbound motion from data pipelines to automation workflows
- →Equip SDRs with world-class tooling, playbooks, and data insights to maximize efficiency and conversion rates across the funnel
- →Build ICP models, scoring frameworks, and segmentation logic to ensure outbound efforts are focused on high-intent, high-fit accounts
- →Evaluate, implement, and optimize GTM tools, including CRM, sequencing, enrichment, and intent data
- →Track, analyze, and report on outbound metrics from reply rates to pipeline contribution, and drive continuous improvement through experimentation
- →Work cross-functionally with Growth, Sales, Product, and Engineering to ensure outbound systems integrate seamlessly with the broader GTM strategy
Tech stack: Clay (core), Apollo, Smart Lead, Nooks, La Growth Machine; CRM / sequencing / enrichment / intent-data tools; SQL and automation scripting; Claude Code and AI-assisted sequencing / prospecting
Requirements
~1 min read- 5+ years in GTM operations, sales engineering, or RevOps with experience building outbound motions and SDR systems from scratch
- Hands-on builder, comfortable designing data models, writing SQL queries, and building automation scripts independently
- Experience building ICP models, scoring frameworks, and segmentation logic to target high-intent, high-fit accounts
- Proven ability to evaluate, implement, and optimize GTM tech stacks including CRM, sequencing, enrichment, and intent data tools
- Strong cross-functional collaborator, works across Growth, Sales, Product, and Engineering to integrate outbound systems into broader GTM strategy
- Has built and owns live outbound systems that are actively generating pipeline, not just someone who set things up and handed them off
- Power user of Clay, uses it daily for enrichment, waterfall logic, and automation, this is table stakes for the role
- Deeply AI-forward in their GTM approach, uses Claude Code, AI sequencing, and AI-assisted prospecting as a natural part of their workflow, not as a novelty
- Has hacked things together independently, built their own automations, scrapers, or GTM tools outside of formal job scope
- CS degree or technical undergraduate background, Anish explicitly preferred this as it correlates with the builder mentality he is looking for
- Has worked at a Series B to E company where GTM systems were built at real scale, not just configured off-the-shelf tools
- Knows the full modern GTM stack: Apollo, Clay, Smart Lead, Nooks, La Growth Machine, or equivalent, signals they have operated in a sophisticated outbound org
- Has done both RevOps and GTM engineering, understands the system requirements from both a strategic and execution standpoint
- Not AI-forward, does not actively use tools like Claude Code, AI-powered automation, or the latest GTM tooling in their day-to-day workflow, this is Anish's biggest red flag
- Not a builder, has not hacked things together independently, built their own automations, or created systems outside of a formal job scope
- Pure growth engineer profile focused on non-GTM initiatives like product-led growth or engineering-adjacent work, this role is specifically GTM engineering, not growth engineering broadly
- Has not worked with Clay or equivalent modern enrichment and automation tooling, this is core to the stack
- No evidence of live projects generating real pipeline, talks about systems but cannot point to outcomes
