Location: Greenville, SC (Onsite, 5 days/week)
Compensation: $90,000 – $135,000 base (up to ~$145,000 – $150,000 total with bonus)

Cassidy Coates Price is a Chambers-ranked litigation boutique with 23 years of established practice and a strong reputation in medical malpractice defense. The firm maintains stable hospital system clients, offers a high-mentorship environment, and provides attorneys with early responsibility and direct partner access. Relocation assistance of approximately $5,000 is available for out-of-market candidates.

This is a 2–6 year litigation associate role focused primarily on medical malpractice defense, with additional exposure to professional liability, employment, and commercial litigation. The position is hands-on early — with expectations to take depositions, appear in court, and manage case components independently within the first couple of years. This is not a support role; the firm is looking for an attorney who can own case work with increasing autonomy under strong mentorship.

• →Handle medical malpractice defense cases with increasing ownership
• →Take depositions and manage court appearances

• 2–6 years post-bar litigation experience
• Licensed in South Carolina
• Proven deposition and litigation workflow experience
• Strong legal writing and research skills
• Ability to work onsite full-time in Greenville

• Strong fit: Insurance defense, med mal, or regional firm litigation background
• Acceptable: Plaintiff-side personal injury or med mal experience
• Must demonstrate hands-on litigation execution — not just support work
• Personality: coachable, collaborative, not ego-driven

• Role is fully onsite in Greenville, SC — 5 days/week
• Must be licensed in South Carolina
