Position Summary

Complete lubrication services and repairs in project field locations as directed by the Heavy Equipment Repairs & Maintenance Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Discuss process for requested repairs with Parts and Service Coordinator;
• Diagnose  repairs to be made;
• Complete lubrication services and repairs as required;
• Organize and control inventory of lube truck;
• Document all service  and repair information;
• Complete reports and documentation as necessary, including heavy truck operation;
• Ensure and enforce compliance to all company, client and legislated Safety policies and procedures;
• Any additional duties and responsibilities as may be assigned, from time to time.

Education and Experience

• Completion of secondary school an asset;
• Heavy equipment mechanical training an asset;
• Be able to interpret blueprints, drawings, diagrams and/or other specifications to determine work procedures;
• Computer proficiency to use databases – Caterpillar;
• Valid “DZ” Driver’s license.

Working Conditions 

• Typical hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, additional hours including occasional weekends when required ;
• Significant physical effort. Significant exposure to environmental conditions;
• Significant travel to worksites.

• For this position the Salary range will be between $30- $31 /Hour
