0 to <2 years of experience: $1,500

2 to <5 years of experience: $2,500

5+ years of experience: $3,500

Operate a straight truck, tractor-trailer, or double trailer to deliver products safely and on time to customers, warehouses, and distributors per route schedule. Provide outstanding customer service and maintain clear communication with supervisors and peers.

• →Operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with DOT and DFA rules, regulations, and safety policies
• →Deliver products per route schedule and customer expectations; follow designated routes unless directed otherwise
• →Report delays due to road conditions, accidents, or breakdowns
• →Load/unload products as required; may include stocking and ordering
• →Maintain positive customer relations and report issues to supervisor
• →Perform routine vehicle maintenance and keep vehicle clean
• →Complete all required paperwork, logs, and trip records accurately and daily
• →Conduct load inventory and document freight condition before departure
• →Attend driver workshops and training sessions
• →Use company-supported applications and systems properly
• →Represent DFA professionally at all times

Education & Experience

• Knowledge of DOT procedures, rules, and requirements
• Proficient computer skills
• Math skills for load calculations and accurate volume/weight recording
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities
• Problem-solving and proactive approach
• Ability to follow directions, meet deadlines, and adapt to change
• Initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Organizational and record-keeping skills
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English
