We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex Cloud, Networking, Server, and Infrastructure Modernisation projects for clients across Australia. This role is ideal for a highly organised and client-focused professional who thrives on managing multiple infrastructure initiatives, building strong stakeholder relationships, and delivering projects from initiation through to successful completion.

You will act as the primary point of contact for clients, working closely with infrastructure engineers, cloud specialists, and technical teams to translate business requirements into structured project delivery plans while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with client expectations.

You will be working with a leading technology organisation that delivers innovative infrastructure, cloud, networking, and digital transformation solutions to enterprise clients across Australia. The company specialises in helping organisations modernise their IT environments through cloud adoption, infrastructure upgrades, server migrations, network transformation, and managed technology services.

  • Proven experience managing end-to-end IT infrastructure, cloud, networking, or server migration projects
  • Strong background delivering infrastructure transformation, cloud migration, and data centre modernisation initiatives
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent infrastructure projects while maintaining quality, timelines, and client satisfaction
  • Demonstrated success working within complex enterprise environments and coordinating cross-functional technical teams
  • Strong understanding of Cloud Infrastructure (Azure, AWS, or Microsoft 365)
  • Experience managing projects involving server deployments, infrastructure upgrades, storage, virtualisation, networking, and disaster recovery
  • Familiarity with enterprise networking technologies including LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls, switching, and wireless infrastructure
  • Experience working with virtualisation platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V is highly desirable
  • Exposure to Microsoft technologies including Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and Azure Virtual Desktop is advantageous
  • Experience applying project management methodologies such as Agile, PRINCE2, PMP, or Waterfall
  • Strong skills in project planning, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, resource allocation, and delivery governance
  • Experience managing infrastructure cutovers, migration planning, change management, and technical implementation activities
  • Relevant Project Management or Microsoft certifications are highly regarded
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all organisational levels, from technical engineers to executive leadership
  • Strong workshop facilitation, requirements gathering, and solution planning capabilities
  • Ability to translate business and technical requirements into structured project plans and actionable delivery outcomes
  • Highly organised with excellent time management and prioritisation skills
  • Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused mindset
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced project environments with evolving technical requirements

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of Cloud, Networking, Server, Infrastructure, and Technology Modernisation projects
  • Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ensure projects are delivered successfully while meeting technical, commercial, and customer expectations
  • Oversee multiple concurrent infrastructure engagements and prioritise activities effectively
  • Act as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, technical teams, vendors, and key stakeholders
  • Facilitate project workshops, technical discovery sessions, and stakeholder meetings to establish project objectives and implementation plans
  • Provide regular project updates, manage stakeholder expectations, and proactively address risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Translate business and technical requirements into structured infrastructure delivery plans
  • Coordinate closely with cloud architects, infrastructure engineers, network specialists, and technical delivery teams
  • Monitor project progress, dependencies, implementation milestones, and resource allocation
  • Manage project risks, technical issues, change requests, and implementation schedules throughout delivery
  • Coordinate infrastructure migrations, system upgrades, cloud deployments, testing, and production cutovers to minimise operational disruption
  • Maintain project documentation, reporting, governance artefacts, and implementation records
  • Apply recognised project management methodologies and infrastructure delivery best practices
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project delivery frameworks, governance processes, and operational standards
  • Support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives across the project delivery and infrastructure teams
