DISHER is currently partnering with a U.S.-based company specializing in innovative, tobacco-free pouches designed to deliver energy and serve as an alternative to chewing tobacco. The company is searching for a Maintenance Manager who will be responsible for facility operations by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and ensuring all building and production equipment remain in peak working condition.

  • Responsible for ensuring maintenance activities and preventative maintenance completed meets the company's Food Safety, Quality & Legal requirements.
  • Coordinate maintenance schedules with production to avoid disruption to manufacturing operations.
  • Making sure that employees work safely and are properly trained.
  • Coordinate plant activities with departmental managers to ensure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Manage parts and ordering of supplies needed to ensure plant continually runs for production needs
  • Responsible for maintaining electrical, plumbing, mechanical, pneumatic/hydraulic, and related systems and equipment
  • Oversee installation, modification, and repair of machinery and facility systems.
  • Work with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or equipment service.
  • Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and plant efficiency.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support departmental or organizational objectives.
  • High School Diploma or GED. Related Technical Degree preferred. 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance specializing in mechanical and electrical work on industrial equipment in a manufacturing facility.
  • Ability to multi-task and balance various activities and projects throughout the day.
  • Experience in a food manufacturing facility.
  • Effective Communicator throughout all levels of the organization.
  • Previous Lead Technician and Supervisor experience.
  • Licensing in Electrical, Welding or related field preferred.
  • Must have valid driver’s license.
