Senior Accountant - Parsippany, NJ

DISHER is currently partnering with a global leader in service supply chain solutions in search for a Senior Accountant to join their team. In this role, you will serve as a key member of the accounting team, responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing general ledger activities, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes. You’ll also collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial reporting accuracy, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and drive process improvements that support overall business performance.

Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.

Prepare month end close activities and prepare internal monthly reporting.

Assist in preparation of year-end financial statements.

Perform and review internal control documentation and testing.

Prepare variance analysis vs budget and forecast.

Monitor day-to-day bank activities and cash management.

Assist in tax filings and compliance.

Support Assistant Controller with process improvement initiatives.

Active CPA license - preferred

Strong US GAAP knowledge

Advanced computer skills on MS Office and databases; ability to manipulate large amounts of data

Strongly preferred: Knowledge of Microsoft Business Central
