• The Role: As a Service Operations Supervisor, you will manage client relationships, ensure smooth service delivery, and support payroll and tax processes. You will be the primary contact for an assigned client portfolio, coordinate user setup and training, drive retention for at-risk accounts, and serve as the liaison between clients and internal operations. You will also oversee payroll accuracy and coach payroll and service associates.
• What You’ll Do:
• Serve as the primary contact for an assigned group of clients and lead meetings on escalated issues
• Coordinate user setup and train clients on web-based payroll, custom reporting, and service platforms
• Lead proactive retention steps for at-risk clients with internal teams and business consultants
• Identify client process gaps and introduce new products and services
• Recommend annual increases or reductions to client administrative fees
• Guide clients on tax account registration, payroll tax questions, and state and federal reporting
• Manage payroll tax notices through to resolution
• Review processed payrolls, resolve errors, and monitor payroll specialists' work for accuracy
• Work with the Quality Control Team on current and prior year voids and posted payroll errors
• Coach payroll and service associates, recommend training, and lead weekly POD huddles
• Escalate client issues through Client Space and other channels
• What You Bring:
• High school diploma
• 2+ years of PEO, ASO, HCM, or multistate payroll experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of experience, skills, education, or training
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong time management and prioritization in a fast-paced environment
• Sound decision-making and strong attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to learn new applications
