Local Content Intern

As a Local Content Intern at EACOP, you will support both reporting and performance tracking as well as capacity building initiatives related to local content. This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data analysis, compliance monitoring, stakeholder engagement, and community development. You will contribute to enhancing local participation and maximizing the benefits of EACOP’s operations for Tanzanian communities and businesses.

Responsibilities

→Support the monitoring of EACOP’s compliance with local content regulations and requirements
→Assist in tracking, analyzing, and reporting local content performance metrics and capacity-building initiatives
→Facilitate workshops and training sessions on local content and capacity development
→Support Level 1 contractors in organizing and supervising capacity-building initiatives
→Assist in the development and implementation of awareness campaigns on EACOP’s local content commitments
→Engage with local communities, businesses, and government stakeholders to understand their needs and challenges
→Contribute to data collection, documentation, and reporting of local content activities
→Provide general administrative and operational support to the Local Content team as required

Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Law, Community Development, or a related discipline, with a strong background in data management and Excel
Must provide an introduction letter from the university, a copy of the student ID
Must provide an academic transcript/testimonial with a minimum of an upper-second class
Must be available full-time for the duration of the internship
Must submit a motivation letter outlining interest in joining EACOP
