Field Engineer

• →Assist in submittals, field work packages, compiling as-built data, verifying quantities, field safety and quality inspections.
• →Perform procurement quantity takeoffs.
• →Daily reports in construction management software.
• →Assist with compilation of necessary information for all submittals and coordinate with Document Control to ensure proper documentation.
• →Assist with coordination of material deliveries.
• →Assist with field verifications, inspections, and measurements.
• →Work closely with document control and field personnel to ensure they have latest drawings and installation documents.
• →Assist with cost coding.
• →Review and understand the redline/as-built process.
• →Attend necessary briefings and safety meetings as required.
• →Attain necessary job specific training.

• →Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality are a requirement for this position.
• →Other duties as assigned.

• Pursuing a degree or recent graduate in related field.
• Experience within electrical utility construction - preferably transmission line or substation 
• Must be flexible in working in both office and field environment as needed.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work with a team
• Must have strong organization skills
• Must be highly motivated.
