Senior Aviation Lead

Everfroth ECS is seeking an Aviation Lead to work on-site at Ft Rucker, Alabama.

The Aviation Lead provides overall program leadership, strategic oversight, and execution management. The individual is accountable for the successful planning, coordination, and execution of aviation training system activities supporting initial entry, advanced, and sustainment flight training objectives.

Responsibilities include directing program execution, leading program reviews, technical interchange meetings, and stakeholder engagements; and managing acquisition and contract execution activities in coordination with Government stakeholders. The Aviation Lead oversees risk management, concurrency planning, and issue resolution to ensure training continuity, safety, and readiness.

The role ensures effective cross-functional integration among aviation engineering, training, logistics, test, safety, cybersecurity, and acquisition teams. The Aviation Lead coordinates Subject Matter Expert (SME) involvement and reviews and approves key program deliverables, including Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans (QASPs), maintenance plans, test and evaluation plans, device accreditation and qualification documentation, and training system performance metrics.

Additional duties include overseeing performance tracking and reporting, ensuring compliance with Army aviation training standards, contractual requirements, and providing executive-level briefings and decision support to Government leadership. The Aviation Lead is responsible for high-level planning, compliance, and delivery of all program objectives in support of safe, effective, and operationally relevant flight training.

• Active Secret Clearance
• Instructor Pilot or Maintenance Test Pilot
• Army Aviator Experience: UH-60M
• Bachelor’s degree in aviation, Engineering, Program Management, Systems Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience supporting aviation, flight training, or DoD program management efforts
