Role : IBDP Chemistry Teacher (Grades11 & 12) Experience: 1-2 years Location:Surat Work Timings: Monday to Saturday | 7:40 AM – 3:45 PM (Occasional extended hours may be required based on school needs.) Summary: We are seeking a passionate and qualified IBDP Chemistry Teacher to join our academic team in Surat, responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to Grades 11 and 12 students.This position requires a dynamic educator who is adept at integrating technology into teaching and excelling in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Responsibilities: ● Plan and deliver interactive lessons aligned with the IB Diploma Programme Chemistry curriculum. ● Create an inquiry-based classroom environment that emphasizes conceptual understanding and real-life scientific connections. ● Guide students in designing and conducting laboratory experiments safely and effectively. ● Mentor students in completing their Internal Assessments (IAs) and support Extended Essay research in Chemistry. ● Evaluate student progress through formative and summative assessments in accordance with IB assessment criteria. ● Maintain accurate records of student performance, grades, and laboratory documentation. ● Integrate technology, simulations, and data analysis tools into instruction to enhance scientific learning. ● Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum planning, moderation, and cross-disciplinary projects. ● Participate in ongoing IB professional development workshops and school-wide training programs. ● Contribute to science exhibitions, academic events, and other initiatives that promote a culture of curiosity and innovation Requirements ● Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Sciences, or a related field. ● Strong understanding of Chemistry standards, lab safety protocols, and experimental techniques. ● Proficient in using digital platforms and tools for instruction, simulation, and data analysis. ● Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. ● Passion for fostering scientific inquiry, environmental awareness, and lifelong learning among students.
