Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Performing engineering work in water and wastewater treatment and conveyance infrastructure
- →Work on engineering planning and design projects
- →Prepare reports
- →Develop plans and specifications
- →Prepare cost estimates for various water and wastewater projects
- →System modeling
- →Permitting and alternative analysis
- →Preparation of technical memoranda, reports and electronic deliverables
- →Data entry and analysis
- →Provide engineering services during construction
- →Participate in field activities such as pilot testing
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- 0 to 4 years of directly-relevant experience in water and wastewater engineering
- Minimum academic requirements include coursework in physical, chemical, and biological processes; hydraulics; and principles of water and wastewater treatment plant and infrastructure design
- Engineer-in-Training Certification
- Application of engineering principles including critical thinking, analysis, and innovative techniques
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Work well in a team environment
- Highly motivated, articulate, and self-starting
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel
Requirements
~1 min read- Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- Familiarity with computer applications including ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and water and sewer hydraulic calculations/modeling software (WaterGEMS, InfoWater, InfoWorks ICM, InfoSWMM)
