Join the University of Dayton as an Upward Bound Program Manager! The Upward Bound Program Director is responsible for the implementation of all facets of the project, including managing the program budget according to federal regulations; submitting annual performance report; and overseeing staff, Summer Academy, and academic preparation in three locally targeted high schools. This is an exiting opportunity to build upon and lead the University of Dayton’s Upward Bound Program to new heights over the next 5 years. Our program is currently funded through August 2027. Upward Bound is an intensive, year-round college preparatory program that provides academic support and focuses on students personal development during high school. The program is open to prospective first-generation college students, as well as students who come from families that meet federal low income household guidelines. The program is federally funded by the U.S. Department of Education. Our two-part program provides students with year-round academic tutoring, college visits, counseling, workshops, cultural and educational experiences, test preparation, and a six-week Summer Academy with an on-campus living experience. While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following: -Professional experience working with federally funded programs. |
