- Maintain professional relationships with clients and client confidentiality.
- Practice Universal Precautions/Standard Protocol & Procedures.
- Understand all aspects of contract requirements and communicate this understanding to staff.
- Comply with all Federal, State, City and CAMBA security and privacy policies intended to protect the security and privacy of individually identifiable health information.
- Make recommendations to the Executive Vice President regarding organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Confer with the Executive Vice President on programmatic and operational matters.
- Confer with the appropriate Executive Vice President and/or other CAMBA management/Executive Staff as needed regarding programmatic and personnel issues.
- Clearly communicate both CAMBA’s and funders’ policies, requirements, guidelines, and program performance targets to staff.
- Train staff in program responsibilities, processes, and procedures, and ensure that all staff meets contract requirements in their daily work.
- Collaborate with staff to set realistic weekly and monthly performance targets in accordance with contract requirements.
- Coordinate and supervise all day-to-day activities of direct reporting staff.
- Conduct periodic internal file review and implement Quality Assurance measures as needed to ensure quality service delivery to clients.
- Prepare contract reports and statistical information for both CAMBA management and funder use.
- Complete program forms and reports for the agency’s finance, payroll and human resources departments as required.
- Collaborate with staff on programmatic improvements.
- Organize onsite and offsite training opportunities for professional development of staff.
- Attend and represent the organization at staff, funder, and external agency meetings as required.
- Review and sign time sheets.
- Prepare performance appraisals for direct reporting staff.
- Ensure that all direct and subordinate staff comply with CAMBA’s and funder policies and rules.
- Ensure that any disciplinary action taken, regarding staff, follows CAMBA’s disciplinary policy and procedure.
- Ensure that all goals, targets, and performance outcomes are met on a monthly/annual basis.
- Develop and implement Quality Assurance measures to ensure quality service delivery to clients.
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all staff weekly/monthly/quarterly/semester/annual reports.
- Review and submit monthly and/or annual reports to funders.
- Analyze program and demographic data to make programmatic improvements.
- Communicate with peers on issues related to client progress and best program practices.
- Conduct regular staff meetings.
- While not on call, will be expected to be reachable after hours and on weekends to assist and consult on client emergencies when needed.
- Immediately report to the appropriate Senior Program Director/Vice President any: monitoring visits or funders’ events; significant events; any incident that might subject CAMBA to liability.
- In consultation with CAMBA’s Human Resources Department and the Executive Vice President make firing recommendations.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical Counseling, or a related field, with a current LCSW or LMHC license, and at least two (2) years of experience overseeing supportive housing programs.
- Relevant experience as described above, preferably in a mid-sized (250+ employees) organization.
- Knowledge about, understanding of, and ability to work closely with persons who are chronically homeless, and/or living with HIV/AIDS and related issues.
- Familiarity with prevention services.
- Excellent written & verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite products.
