Maintenance Assistant / Operator (Junior)

Our client is seeking a Maintenance Assistant / Operator to join the Coega, Port Elizabeth team, · Maintenance of allocated machine on the production line, · Operate allocated machine on the production line, · Assist in routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections of building systems, equipment, and machinery. · Conduct regular checks on tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition. · Assist in identifying and reporting potential safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or necessary repairs. Requirements · Grade 12 · N3 – N4 in Mechanical or Electrical preferred, · At least 2 years of experience in a maintenance & operator role, · Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge required · Valid drivers license and own transport, · Candidate must reside in the Port Elizabeth / Uitenhage area · Must be willing to work shifts – 05:00am – 14:30pm & 17:00pm – 02:30am
