Toolmaker

Our client is seeking an experienced Toolmaker to join the Uitenhage team · Manufacture, repair, and maintain injection moulding tools and dies to ensure efficient production. · Diagnose and resolve tooling issues, including root cause analysis of defects and failures. · Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and ensure tools are kept in optimal condition. · Set up and operate manual and CNC toolroom machinery to produce precision components. · Modify existing tooling to improve production performance and quality. · Ensure compliance with safety standards, housekeeping, and company procedures. · Assist production teams with tool-related challenges during manufacturing processes. · Maintain accurate records of repairs, modifications, and maintenance performed · Collaborate with design engineers on tooling concepts and improvements. · Ensure minimal downtime by responding swiftly to tooling-related breakdowns Requirements · Grade 12 · Trade Tested Toolmaker · Minimum 3 years’ Toolmaking experience · Injection moulding experience will be an advantage
