Intern - Agricultural Derivatives Broker( 6-Month)

The team of brokers at StoneX Paris (formerly Plantureux & Associés) acts as the main intermediary between clients and the financial markets. They identify and recommend products that meet their clients' needs in terms of investment and risk management, whether they are end consumers or financial institutions.

Based on our trading floor, your main responsibility will be to support a team of four brokers who specialise in the international agricultural commodity futures markets. This role will give you valuable experience of working in a dynamic and demanding environment

As part of your internship, your main responsibility will be to assist brokers with their day-to-day tasks.

- Ensuring the overall quality of customer service.

- Assist brokers with sales-related tasks :

This includes conducting research and preparing ad hoc reports, handling client enquiries, tracking and issuing market letters, and setting up and maintaining databases of strategic sales information.

- Track market transactions :

Monitor the processing of events throughout the entire transaction lifecycle and track real-time market movements and key metrics during the trading session.

- Provide personalised follow-up after transactions have been processed :

This involves reviewing contracts, ensuring that transactions are properly integrated into the systems and verifying that transaction processing is proceeding smoothly.

Generate daily confirmations for market transactions and allocations to international clearing houses.

Identify transaction irregularities, prepare anomaly tracking reports and alert the manager to any detected risks (compliance, validity or unusual situations).

- Help to ensure the proper implementation of risk procedures and compliance rules :

This involves ensuring the traceability of transactions, providing support during audits conducted by the Autorité des Marchés Financiers and market makers, and preparing activity reports.

- Contribute to the development of procedures and systems :

Help to identify the need for technical updates, such as updating operating procedures, tools and/or processes, adapt internal procedures, design work materials.

• Completing Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business or a related discipline 
• Available for early December'26 start
• Must have full rights to work in France

• Hybrid (as per RTO policy) - Minimum 4 days in a week in office
