Data Analyst

The Data Analyst supports administrative healthcare teams in analytical and data gathering activities. The Decision Support Data Analyst helps identify and drive profitable business activities through weekly, monthly, and ad hoc organizational reporting. The Decision Support Data Analyst will deliver information that is insightful, actionable, and gainful which will add analytical value to the organization to achieve goals and objectives.

1. Analyzes and compiles new reporting from multiple sources while ensuring the information is complete, accurate, and meaningful.

2. Generates weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reporting relating Accounting, Finance, Facility Operational, Revenue Cycle, Sales, Quality & Safety, or Patient Access as assigned.

3. Utilizes software such as Tableau and SQL to create high-performing and actionable insights.

4. Manages assigned projects in Tableau reporting website to ensure data is easily understandable and accurate.

5. Reviews and troubleshoots internal support requests through the Halo ticketing system and resolves in a timely manner.

6. Interacts with Decision Support Data Engineering team as needed to ensure data accuracy.

7. Administers Tableau training and Q&A sessions for 280+ end-users as needed.

8. Other duties as assigned.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Quarterly travel to corporate offices in Colorado Springs with some potential changes in frequency. Occasional travel to attend software conferences.

Minimum Qualifications/Experience:

• Two plus years’ experience in Data Analysis
• Expert knowledge of analytical tools and the ability to process and identify opportunities by sourcing all available internal and external data
• Strong analytical, planning, organizational and problem solving skills
• Detail oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver and a team player
• Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately
• Ability to excel in a very fast-pace team environment
• Ability to continuously “exceed” company and customer expectation
• Strong communication skills & professional demeanor

Preferred Qualifications:

• SQL knowledge
• Tableau
• Data Warehouse Management

Education/Certifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
