IP Core and Transport Solution Architect

## Join our Team About this opportunity: As a Solution Architect, you will apply your IP networking knowledge to customer projects and delivery assignments. You will take ownership of defined technical areas, coordinate activities across teams, support implementation and acceptance, and build trusted relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. The role is well suited to an experienced IP professional who may currently work as an Integration Engineer, Network Engineer, IP Engineer or similar and is ready to grow into a broader Solution Architect position. What you will do: • Understand customer requirements, existing network conditions and delivery constraints. • Participate in customer meetings, technical workshops and solution discussions. • Contribute to high-level designs, solution descriptions, implementation plans and migration approaches. • Act as the technical interface between customers, project managers, Core 3 stakeholders, Ericsson stakeholders, integration engineers and subject-matter experts. • Plan and support integration activities, including configuration alignment, implementation readiness, test preparation and controlled network introduction. • Perform technical analysis, design reviews, troubleshooting, fault isolation and root-cause investigations. • Support customer acceptance, operational readiness, handover and knowledge transfer. • Coordinate technical actions, track risks and dependencies, and drive issues to resolution. • Create clear technical documentation and explain solution behavior to technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Support presales, proposals, solution estimates and technical presentations when required, without this being the primary focus of the role. • Contribute to reuse initiatives, communities and knowledge sharing across Ericsson The skills you bring: • Relevant experience in IP networking, telecommunications or service-provider environments. • Practical experience with routing and switching, IP/MPLS, BGP and OSPF or IS-IS. • Knowledge of L2/L3 VPNs, QoS, traffic engineering, resiliency and basic synchronization and security principles. • Experience with network integration, implementation, testing, troubleshooting or acceptance activities. • Ability to analyze technical problems, structure actions and communicate clearly with customers and delivery teams. • Experience preparing technical documentation, implementation material or test and acceptance documentation. • Ability to work collaboratively in multivendor and multicultural environments. • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience. • Experience with Ericsson IP Networking or transport solutions and the Evolved IP Network portfolio. • Knowledge of Juniper, Cisco, Nokia, Huawei or Ericsson platforms. • Experience with migration, modernization, network rollout or customer acceptance. • Exposure to Ericsson cloud and infrastructure technologies such as CCD, CNIS or NFVI. • Exposure to Cloud and infrastructure technologies. • Experience with network automation, scripting, telemetry or observability. • CCNA, CCNP, JNCIP, Ericsson IP certification or equivalent demonstrated competence. • Experience supporting customer proposals, technical presentations or solution estimates.
