This Product Engineer position will use remote sensing knowledge and skills to expand and improve imagery processing techniques applied to vast amounts of information.  By joining our team, you will use your creativity and technical expertise to design and implement imagery Workflows and Solutions. Spatial analysis, data visualization, and strong communication skills are all necessary to succeed in this role, which will drive our company and our users to new levels of insight through ESRI technology. As an expert in both Remote Sensing and ArcGIS technology, you will help ensure our customers utilize the best practices to work with imagery in ArcGIS.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage domain expertise to help build the best solutions
  • Build, test, QA, and implement data conversion workflows
  • Test various data processing workflows
  • Research and apply cutting edge methods and technologies in the field of remote sensing
  • Understand, create, and explain new products created by raster analysis

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in remote sensing and GIS
  • Familiarity with image services, mosaic datasets, geoprocessing tools
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills and proven ability to work in teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical presenting and interacting with colleagues across organizations
  • Remote sensing science and how to use algorithms to extract information from imagery
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely
  • Bachelor’s degree in remote sensing, GIS, or related field
  • Experience with image processing and image analysis
  • Knowledge of big data and cloud infrastructure (Amazon, Azure)
  • Experience using Python or other high-level languages
  • Proven ability to define, manage, and deliver geospatial solutions
