As a spatial data science product engineer, you’ll work closely with developers to translate user needs into capabilities, define agent behavior, and deliver production-ready software that’s thoroughly tested and documented. Responsibilities

  • User experience and user interface design, testing, and documentation for agent-driven spatial analysis experiences
  • Design, test, and refine prompts to ensure LLM outputs are accurate, clear, and appropriate for spatial analysis workflows
  • Research and apply advances in LLMs, GeoAI, and related areas to advance our technical approaches
  • Create and ship quality software by working effectively in an agile, highly interactive, and creative team environment

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience doing applied spatial analysis and data science 
  • Strong technical experience with ArcGIS Pro, including geoprocessing and ArcPy 
  • Demonstrated experience in at least one programming language, Python or C# strongly preferred 
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, structured prompts for LLM-based systems
  • Bachelor's in GIS, geography, computer science, engineering, sciences, or a related field 
  • Master’s or PhD in GIS, geography, computer science, engineering, sciences, or a related field 
  • Strong technical aptitude and interest in keeping up to date with innovations in the LLM and generative AI space
  • Experience working with LLMs 
  • Experience translating user requirements into project requirements or product designs
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work with a diverse team

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is
$93,600$159,328 USD
