Payments Financial Controller

We are looking for a Financial Controller to serve as the financial authority on embedded finance across our portfolio. You will not only manage the financial integrity of our existing payment-enabled companies, but act as the internal subject matter expert guiding new acquisitions through the transition to modern, high-margin payment business models.

• You possess a deep understanding of payment ecosystems (Gateways, Acquirers, Schemes). Knowledge of embedded finance solutions is also very welcome

• You understand the SaaS business model (recurring revenue, churn, customer acquisition costs) and how to layer payments on top of it.

• You have experience working within a private equity / M&A / investment environment previously.

• You are proficient with modern financial stacks (NetSuite etc.) and are comfortable working with API-based data and BI tools (PowerBI) to visualise payment performance.

• You can explain complex payment economics to a non-finance stakeholder, helping them understand the value of the "payments-enabled" transition.

• Ideally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with 3+ years’ experience in hands-on finance roles.
