Be our next Mechanical Designer/Engineer for Mission Critical and Data Center building projects!

EXP an award-winning international engineering firm, is currently searching for an experienced Mechanical Designer/Engineer. This is an opportunity to get great exposure from our talented and experienced engineering staff in our Dallas, TX office.

• Proficient with AutoCAD and Revit
• Prepare calculations for loads.
• Thorough knowledge of codes.
• Select and schedule equipment.
• Coordinates with other disciplines (MEP/FP, Arch, Struct, etc.).
• Understand proper scope of SD, DD, CD level documents – and deliver appropriate documentation.
• Work with PC, PM, to meet scheduled project milestones of multiple projects.
• Perform at a ‘responsible charge’ level of meeting exp’s design and quality levels.
• Manage work plans and deliverables on multiple projects within budgeted hours.
• Write studies and reports for systems on projects.
• Understands and apply concepts of CHW, HW, WSHP, variable & constant flow systems.
• Air side systems – CV, VAV, coil selection, fan selection.
• Hydronic Systems – hot, chilled water systems and condenser water systems

• Thorough understanding psychometrics and being able to apply to every project.

   

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering 
• EIT preferred working towards PE
• 1+ years of experience
• Must have strong leadership skills and good communication capabilities.
• Preferred experience includes: data center, mission critical and/or telecom industry.
• Building design experience is a must
