Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university Pref
  • 7-9 years progressive safety leadership experience within commercial trucking or logistics environments, with extensive knowledge of DOT regulations, FMCSA compliance requirements, commercial driver oversight, and OSHA standards, or equivalent combination of education and experience Required
  • 8–10+ years of progressive experience in transportation safety and regulatory compliance within commercial trucking, logistics, or fleet operations.
  • Extensive working knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations, including: o Driver Qualification Files o Hours-of-Service compliance o Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse requirements o CSA scoring and intervention processes o ELD compliance
  • Significant OSHA compliance expertise, including recordkeeping, workplace inspections, hazard assessments, and regulatory response.
  • Demonstrated experience leading DOT audits and OSHA inspections.
  • Strong analytical, investigative, and regulatory interpretation skills.
  • Proven leadership experience supervising safety or compliance personnel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interface with regulatory agencies and executive leadership.
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) Preferred
