The Parts Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering parts to customers and assisting with warehouse operations. This role involves operating a truck or van and requires safe and responsible driving at all times.

Responsibilities

→Perform accurate delivery & distribution of freight to Fabick branches and drop boxes.
→Maintain good working relations with all Fabick branch facilities.
→Represent Fabick Cat in a safe and professional manner while in transit.
→Notify company supervisors and mechanics of vehicle problems.
→Perform routine vehicle maintenance such as regulating tire pressure and adding gasoline, oil, and water.
→Record the name, date, and freight information on trip sheets, along with trip information such as time and place of pickup and drop-off.
→Complete accident reports when necessary.
→Check vehicles before driving them to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.
→Check all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate.
→Secure cargo for transport
→Read bills of lading to determine assignment details.
→Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.
→Load and unload the van, or help others with loading and unloading, operating any special loading-related equipment on vehicles and using other equipment as necessary.
→Assist in the warehouse during downtime.

Qualifications:

→High School diploma or equivalent is required.
→Valid state Driver's License required and Class A CDL
→Must have forklift experience and be able to physically lift up to 75 lbs.
→Good oral & written communication skills.
