About the Role
~1 min readWe are looking for an Actuarial Data Scientist to help Fetch continue to have best-in-class pricing and profitability while also supporting growth of the business. You will leverage predictive analytics to improve the sophistication of our existing pricing models and build tools to monitor the performance of our rating plans over time.
In this highly visible role, you will be a member of a small, close-knit actuarial team and will need to be adaptable, wearing multiple hats in support of various actuarial pricing and financial forecasting initiatives. Time will be roughly evenly split between pricing, conversion, and retention modeling work and traditional actuarial pricing work. You will help evaluate product proposals from a pricing and enterprise risk management perspective, support rate filings and responses to regulatory objections, and contribute to special pricing projects such as increased limit factor analyses, policyholder coverage utilization studies, and pricing brand new coverages. You will frequently engage in creative problem-solving and present your findings to senior leadership, actively shaping the organization’s future.
