Linen Porter/Houseman at the Crosby Street Hotel

As Linen Porter/Houseman, you’ll play a key role in keeping our guest rooms and public spaces at Crosby Street Hotel immaculate and welcoming, supporting the housekeeping team in delivering Firmdale’s exceptional five-star standard of service.

• →Maintain linen and toiletry stock levels across all linen closets, and receive and store incoming deliveries
• →Support Room Attendants in maintaining guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to our five-star standards
• →Deliver extra beds, cots, and other guest requests promptly and courteously
• →Sort and prepare soiled linen for collection by our laundry partner
• →Carry out deep-cleaning projects, including high dusting, carpet and upholstery shampooing, and seasonal spring cleaning
• →Move furniture as needed, comfortably lifting up to 25 lbs on a frequent basis and up to 60 lbs occasionally
• →Keep corridors, stairways, and all public and working areas clean, tidy, and hazard-free
• →Respond promptly to pages and guest requests, communicating clearly with the housekeeping team throughout each shift
• →Safeguard any guest room keys and pagers assigned to you, and report lost property, damages, or maintenance issues immediately
• →Follow all health, safety, and fire procedures, including Do Not Disturb protocols
• →Maintain a clean, organized workspace and a high standard of personal hygiene and presentation
