Senior Network Engineer

In this pivotal role as a Senior Network Engineer, you will join a team of experienced network engineers at the forefront of shaping and expanding the worldwide infrastructure of a dynamic and growing company. Your core mandate will involve implementing and operating cutting-edge enterprise network solutions. Guided by our strategic vision, you will assist in deploying key initiatives in Europe and in other parts of the globe.

• →Planning, documenting, and performing network changes/extensions.
• →Orchestration of firewall rules and underlying network settings.
• →Designing and documenting the corporate network architecture (LAN/WAN/WLAN/SECURITY).
• →Network security experience and awareness.
• →Operating and monitoring of the corporate network infrastructure.
• →Providing next level network infrastructure related support.
• →Designing network aspects of disaster recovery and operational security.
• →Maintaining, auditing, and improving corporate network & security standards.
• →Performing network related root cause analysis (RCA) and problem resolution.
• →Defining, monitoring, and reporting KPIs for network services/devices.
• →Managing proof of concepts, feasibility studies and other corporate initiatives.
• →Hands-on experience in SDWAN technology, network design, and implementation preferred.
• →Acting as project leader for network related activities/projects.

• The holder of the position reports directly to Senior Networking management.
• The position requires excellent communications skills along inter-department collaboration.

• Relevant network/IT related education (academic degree preferred).
• Must have or be actively working towards certifications such as CCNP, PCNSA, or PCNSE.
• Excellent understanding of corporate network & data center application architecture concepts.
• Excellent analytic skills.
• Excellent understanding of these technical areas below:
• Security & firewall infrastructure (Palo Alto, Multivendor) - mandatory
• Network infrastructure (Cisco, Arista) - mandatory
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Wireless network infrastructure (Aruba HPE wireless cloud central)
• VPN technologies/infrastructure
• Network design/management
• Network automation
• Network technologies (Layer1-Layer4)
• Good communication & technical writing skills.
• Good team player.
• Independent, goal-oriented, and self-motivating personality.
• Passion to deliver high quality standard levels.
• Accuracy and high-risk awareness.
• Excellent English language skills (oral & written).
• Willingness to travel and to perform standby on-calls.

• Min 5 years of professional experience in senior network engineering roles.
• SolarWinds configuration and management.
• Practical experience in enterprise network & security Plan/Build/Run setup.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls, Arista switches, and Aruba wireless solutions.
• Work experience within an international/multicultural environment preferred.
• Ability to work with teams distributed in different time zones.
