Driver

Responsibilities Safely operate company delivery vehicles, including trucks, vans, and trailers as assigned. Deliver pumps, motors, parts, tools, and equipment to customers and job sites in a timely manner. Load, secure, transport, and unload equipment and materials safely. Verify delivery quantities and items against packing lists, work orders, invoices, or delivery tickets. Obtain customer signatures and properly document deliveries and pickups. Pick up equipment, pumps, parts, and materials from customers, vendors, and job sites. Assist warehouse and shop personnel with loading and unloading as needed. Use appropriate lifting equipment and material-handling practices. Inspect vehicles before and after trips and report maintenance or safety issues. Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle. Follow all company safety policies, DOT requirements applicable to the vehicle being operated, and traffic laws. Communicate professionally with customers and company personnel regarding deliveries, delays, or special instructions. Assist with general warehouse/shop duties when not making deliveries. Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork. Protect company property and customer equipment while in transit. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean or acceptable driving record. CDL is not required, but a CDL Class A or B is a plus. Previous delivery, warehouse, construction, industrial, or mechanical experience preferred. Ability to safely lift and move heavy materials and equipment. Ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack, or other material-handling equipment is preferred. Good communication and customer-service skills. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently. Strong attention to detail. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Basic knowledge of vehicle and equipment safety. Willingness to work occasional overtime or extended hours when business needs require.
