A note from Royce Luque, VP of Sales: This is a sales-forward seat, first and last. I'm not hiring someone whose resume already reads "VP of Partnerships." I'm hiring for the person who walks into a room of 200 dispensary operators and leaves with 30 conversations and 5 real opportunities. Charisma, hustle, and sales IQ matter more to me than years on paper. If the raw instincts are there (you read a room, you find the right people, you follow through with intent), I'll coach you into the rest. This is your shot to put your name on something at a company that has already won the hardest version of this business. If that sounds like you, we should talk

Flowhub is building one of the most important growth levers we have, and we need the right person in the field running it.

As our Partnerships & Events Manager, you'll be the face of Flowhub across the cannabis industry. You'll be out in the rooms that matter, turning relationships into pipeline and growing the operator and tech-partner network that pays off long after the booth comes down. You'll own how we show up at trade shows, summits, and partner gatherings, and you'll make every event a repeatable, predictable source of opportunity.

This is a sales-forward role that reports to our VP of Sales and works hand in hand with our Chief of Staff. It is high exposure, highly cross-functional, and measured on what it puts into the pipeline. You'll run the playbook in the field, sharpen it every time out, and grow your ownership as you prove it.

  • Flowhub's presence in the field. Show up where the operators, brands, and partner ecosystem live. Represent the company at trade shows, summits, and partner gatherings. Build relationships that last well past the booth.

  • Events that turn into pipeline. Own the calendar and the budget. Build one consistent playbook so every activation runs the same way and produces predictable leads, no more one-offs. Design and run the executive dinners, operator roundtables, and partner activations that turn a room into real opportunity. Attendance numbers don't count. Outcomes do.

  • Partnerships that drive revenue. Develop relationships with cannabis operators and the tech brands in our ecosystem, then work side by side with Sales to turn them into pipeline and closed-won deals. You bring the connections; the team helps you convert.

  • The ecosystem and community. Be the connector between Flowhub, the operators we serve, and our partner brands. Cultivating that network is not a side project here. It is a core part of the job.

  • The numbers. Leads generated per event, pipeline contribution, and partner ecosystem growth. You'll own the reporting and hit the targets you and Royce set together.

  • You're a natural in front of people. Walk into a partner dinner with thirty strangers and you'll leave with five working relationships. You command attention when you enter a room and you make people want to engage. Presence is your baseline, not a setting you toggle on for events.

  • You sell, but with substance. You can hold your own with a C-level operator on Monday and run the ground game on a partner activation Tuesday. Neither job has ever felt beneath you.

  • You'd rather ship than delegate. You'll run point on the details and do the work yourself. Title isn't what you're chasing. The build is.

  • You're early and hungry. Maybe you're a year or two into a sales seat and ready for a bigger swing, or a few years in and looking for the role that puts your name on something. Either way, the pitch that fires you up is "this is your shot, and we'll mold you into it."

  • You're coachable by instinct. You take direction as fuel. The people who win here treat a VP's playbook as a head start, not a constraint.

  • Travel energizes you. A packed calendar across Vegas, Denver, Chicago, and a dozen cities you've never seen reads like opportunity, not friction.

  • You're Miami-ready. This is an in-office seat. Coconut Grove HQ, four to five days a week. The team is in the room together, the work moves faster that way, and the energy is part of the deal.

  • You want to set the agenda, not run the field. The direction for this seat gets built with Royce and our Chief of Staff, and your job is to own the field work and the execution. If you need full control of the plan on day one, this isn't the fit.

  • You bristle at coaching. You'll be molded here, on purpose. If you'd rather operate with no input and your own fixed playbook, you'll be unhappy.

  • You want a finished calendar and a done playbook. The operational build is yours. If you'd rather inherit a machine than build the engine, this isn't it.

  • You're allergic to cannabis. Our customers are dispensaries. If that's a non-starter on a personal or moral level, this isn't the right home. If you can see cannabis for what it is, a hard, real, growing business solving a meaningful operator problem, you'll be in good company here.

  • Remote is non-negotiable for you. Coconut Grove HQ. The team is here, the energy is here, and partnership work happens in person.

  • Roughly 2+ years of winning through relationships. Royce means it when he says instincts beat tenure, so treat this as a guide, not a gate. It might look like an early sales seat (SDR, BDR, or AE) at a SaaS, fintech, or platform company where you were a top performer and want a bigger canvas. It might be an events-focused or experiential role where you tied programs to revenue, not just attendance. It might be community or brand partnerships at a consumer or B2B company where you turned a network into pipeline. Or early business development, where you closed real relationships, not just signed MOUs.

  • Strong written and verbal communication. You can write a sharp follow-up at 11 pm after a partner dinner and represent the company on a panel the next morning.

  • Comfort with Salesforce or a similar CRM for tracking pipeline, partner activity, and event ROI.

We respect your time. Each conversation should give you a clearer picture of whether this is the right move for you.

  • Stage 1 (Recruiter Screen): A 30-minute conversation with Aaron Friedman, our talent acquisition partner, on your background, what you're looking for, and mutual fit.

  • Stage 2 (People Team Connect): A 30-minute conversation with Denisse Flack, People Team leader at Flowhub.

  • Stage 3 (Leadership Connect): A 45-minute deep dive with Royce Luque, VP of Sales and the hiring manager for this seat, and Will Zinsmeister, Chief of Staff.

  • Stage 4 (CEO Final): A conversation with Kyle Sherman, CEO, on the company, the role, and the bigger picture.

Total time from first conversation to offer: roughly two weeks for a strong candidate.

  • Compensation 💰: $120K to $140K OTE, with base and variable mix calibrated to experience, plus equity in a profitable, well-funded company.

  • Full Benefits 🛡️: Medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance, and 401(k).

  • Time Off 🌴: Unlimited PTO and paid holidays.

  • The Workspace 📍: Coconut Grove HQ, four to five days a week, with roughly thirty to forty percent travel. We work in person because the work is better that way.

  • The Real Win ⚡: This is the shot to build your name in the field at a profitable, decade-old company. You'll be the face of Flowhub in the industry, you'll learn the craft from a VP of Sales and a Chief of Staff who are invested in molding you, and you'll grow your ownership as fast as you can earn it. High ceiling, real ground underneath you.

  • Mission-First. We're here to solve real problems for the operators we serve, not to chase what's trending.

  • Maximum Urgency. Speed compounds. We act now, not later.

  • Own It. No spectators. Everyone runs their part of the field.

  • Championship Team. High bar, full trust, no carry-on talent.

  • Efficient Execution. We scale process with technology, not headcount.

  • Dispensary Obsessed. The retailer is the boss. Their problem is our problem.

  • Positive Intent. We assume the best of each other and earn the right to disagree well.

Flowhub builds the technology that runs regulated retail. We exist to solve the hardest operational and compliance problems in American commerce, the ones that decide whether a business in a tightly regulated market clears its first audit or its hundredth. Cannabis is where we started, and where we became the fastest-growing regulated retail technology company in the country.

Flowhub powers compliance, point-of-sale (POS), payments, e-commerce, inventory management, loyalty, and analytics for thousands of cannabis retailers nationwide. We process more than $4 billion in our customers' sales each year, achieved profitability in 2023 (a milestone almost no one else in this category has reached), and help high-volume dispensaries automate operations, grow revenue, and deliver a better customer experience.

Founder and CEO Kyle Sherman built Flowhub from the inside out. As a Head of Compliance at early cannabis companies, he ran headfirst into the inefficiencies of existing platforms and set out to create software that would accelerate workflows, increase accuracy, and simplify compliance. He desperately needed it, and found others did too. Flowhub was born. Back in 2014, before most of the industry existed, he became the first to integrate with the state's Metrc tracking system, lobbying Colorado to open the API that's now an industry standard. Kyle still sets the company's vision and strategy.

Flowhub is privately held and backed since the start by serious capital and serious people. Our investors include PayPal, Headline, Poseidon, Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter, Evolv Ventures (the Kraft Heinz Company's venture arm), and the founders of Venmo. Our board includes Blake Irving, who, as CEO, took GoDaddy from a few thousand customers to more than 20 million. We're a founding member of the US Cannabis Roundtable (USCR), the lobbying and advocacy group working to normalize and professionalize the market at the federal level.

This is an inflection point. POS-native e-commerce launched in 2025, marketing came with it, and our 2026 brand evolution positions Flowhub as the regulated retail technology company it has always been, with a roadmap into adjacent verticals where age-gated, compliance-heavy operators need a platform they can actually run on.

We hire people, not resumes. If this role excites you and you think you'd be great at it, please apply.
