Under the supervision of the Ticketing Supervisor, the incumbent provides quality guest service through the sale/issuance of tickets as well as any other department specific tasks assigned by management. High school diploma or GED required. Must possess well developed guest service technique, excellent communication and organizational skills to effectively interact with co-workers and guests, a clear, pleasant speaking voice and good hearing to ensure effective telephone communication. Must possess a personable customer service attitude along with an ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Must have cash handling experience. Ability to speak, read, write and understand English required. Required to become proficient in various department specific computer programs. Must be able to determine guest needs by asking proper questions that may apply to their ticket needs. Extensive periods of keyboarding and computer monitor use are required. Must be able to learn the job with hands on training. Position requires extended periods of standing, walking, bending, reaching with hands and arms, and talking. Position is predominately (but not restricted to) 2nd shift, Thursdays through Sundays, and some holidays. Must be willing to work a minimum of 2 days per week. Must adhere to all Foxwoods and department specific policies.

Responsibilities

  • →Must adhere to Mashantucket Pequot Tribes and departmental policies and procedures.
  • →Proficient use of all Ticketmaster, CAMS, Foxpay, Foxpitality programs to assist guests with the purchase and/or issuance of show tickets.
  • →Obtains required approval and acceptance of various forms of payment (credit card, Foxwoods Rewards points, debit cards, etc.)
  • →Reconciles cash according to prescribed cash handling guidelines.
  • →Ensures excellent customer service in assisting guests with ticket sales, ticket pickup, ADA/Handicap seating, lost tickets, online ticket issues, and any other customer service issues that arise.
  • →Performs daily inspections for safety, quality and cleanliness at opening and closing, reporting deficiencies.
  • →Provides guests with general information to ensure a pleasant visit to Foxwoods.
  • →Always promotes positive guest and employee relations.
  • →Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
  • →Participates as a panel member on MPGEs Board of Review as needed.
  • →Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned by the Ticketing Supervisor and/or Ticketing Manager.
  • High school diploma or GED as well as one (1) to two (2) years of previous cashiering and/or ticketing, front-line guest contact, and computer experience preferred.

  • Must be able to work a minimum of 2 days a week, generally between (but not limited to) Thursdays through Sundays, predominantly evening shifts
  • The ability to speak, read, write, and understand English is essential.
  • Must be able to do simple math (add, subtract, multiply, divide) and count currency.
  • Be able to determine guests’ needs by asking proper questions about how they obtained their tickets.
  • The physical demands will vary depending on area of study and as described here, are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee is required to continually stand in varying time periods up to 4 hours, walk and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Position requires extended periods of standing, bending, reaching with hands and arms, and talking.
