• →Manage end-to-end ocean freight operations for import and export shipments.
• →Develop and maintain relationships with ocean carriers and trucking companies.
• →Negotiate freight rates, contracts, and service agreements to optimize cost and service quality.
• →Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.
• →Monitor shipment schedules, transit times, and cargo status; proactively resolve delays, disruptions, and claims.
• →Oversee documentation accuracy, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and customs filings.
• →Lead, train, and supervise ocean freight staff; set performance goals and conduct evaluations.
• →Analyze KPIs such as on-time delivery, detention/demurrage, and carrier performance.
• →Collaborate with internal teams (sales, warehousing and distribution, trucking, customs) to achieve business objectives.
• →Manage budgets and control costs related to ocean freight operations.
• →Identify process improvements and implement best practices to increase efficiency and service reliability.

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business or a related field preferred
• 10+ years of experience in ocean freight operations, freight forwarding, or international logistics
• Prior supervisory or management experience required
• Proficiency in ERP platforms and MS Office
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and organizational skills
• Bilingual in English and Korean
