Job Summary We are looking for an experienced SQL Server DBA to manage, optimize, and maintain our database environments. The ideal candidate will ensure the performance, reliability, and efficiency of our SQL Server databases while supporting development and reporting needs. This role also requires strong Azure database experience, as the team is looking for someone who can bring confidence and hands-on expertise in that area. Key Responsibilities Optimize MS SQL Server databases for performance, scalability, and efficiency Monitor, evaluate, and report on database performance and health metrics Implement, manage, and maintain SSIS packages and ETL processes Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SQL Server environments Support and administer Azure SQL and other Azure-based database services as needed Troubleshoot database issues and recommend improvements to stability and performance Collaborate with developers and IT teams to support database-related initiatives Assist with database architecture and design, including referential integrity Work with other database technologies as needed, such as MySQL or PostgreSQL Requirements Strong expertise in MS SQL Server, including optimization, query tuning, and performance evaluation Hands-on experience with Azure SQL or other relevant Azure-based database services Ability to provide guidance and confidence around Azure database best practices Experience with SSIS for ETL processes Proven experience in database support, administration, and maintenance Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Experience working in a remote environment and collaborating across teams Nice-to-Have Qualifications Experience in database architecture, including referential integrity Familiarity with other database platforms such as MySQL and PostgreSQL Experience with broader cloud-based database environments beyond Azure Benefits Why Join Us: Fully remote – work from anywhere in the Philippines Collaborative, high-performing engineering culture Work on scalable, real-world systems with modern architecture
