We are seeking a Senior Manager, Information Governance & Compliance to be the University's senior operational lead for Data Protection and Governance.
You will drive the development and implementation of a mature, risk-based privacy framework that enables innovation while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. You will also provide expert leadership on UK GDPR, information governance, AI governance, privacy risk management, and regulatory compliance.
To be successful, we would expect you to have a background of acting as a DPO, Deputy DPO or senior privacy adviser. You should have experience of presenting risk and assurance reports and managing complex data breaches and regulatory investigations.
In addition, you should be a confident communicator, with the ability to influence at all levels.
Whilst we offer flexible and hybrid working across the University, you will be required to work on-campus at least 2 days per week.
