Facilities Technician

Flanders, NJ

• →Perform routine facility maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, lighting, painting, carpentry, and general building upkeep
• →Assist with preventative maintenance for facility systems, utilities, and equipment
• →Troubleshoot and respond to maintenance requests and work orders in a timely manner
• →Support HVAC, compressed air, water, and utility system monitoring and maintenance
• →Help maintain facility cleanliness, organization, and housekeeping standards in non-production and general facility areas
• →Assist with minor cleanup tasks, general upkeep, and maintaining an inspection-ready environment
• →Coordinate with external vendors and contractors during service visits, maintenance, and repair activities
• →Support facility inspections and help ensure compliance with company safety procedures
• →Assist with office moves, furniture assembly, and facility setup as needed
• →Maintain maintenance logs, work orders, and related documentation
• →Identify and proactively report safety hazards, equipment issues, or facility concerns
• →Assist with inventory management of maintenance tools, parts, and supplies
• →Support emergency maintenance situations and after-hours facility needs as required

• High school diploma or GED required
• Technical school certification, trade training, or relevant vocational experience preferred
• 2+ years of facilities maintenance, building maintenance, industrial maintenance, or related experience preferred
• Experience in pharmaceutical, manufacturing, laboratory, or other regulated environments is a plus
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment preferred
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow safety procedures, SOPs, and company policies
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Working Conditions: This is a full-time hourly onsite role based at our Flanders, NJ manufacturing facility. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, with occasional overtime, weekend work, or emergency response support based on facility and operational needs. This role requires standing, walking, bending, climbing ladders, and lifting materials up to 50 pounds.
