Geotab is seeking a Solutions Delivery Manager who will be responsible for driving telematics and video hardware programs from concept to commercial launch — managing timelines, aligning cross-functional teams, and ensuring products hit the market on time, on budget, and built to last. If you love owning complex programs end-to-end, thrive in a fast-moving hardware and software environment, and are keen to join an industry leader — we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities

As a Solutions Delivery Manager, your key area of responsibility will be leading the full lifecycle of telematics and video hardware programs — from early engineering development through beta testing with live customer fleets, commercial launch in North America, and ongoing feature rollouts into rest-of-world markets. You will define project scope, goals, and deliverables; create and manage program timelines; run weekly development meetings; maintain detailed action logs; and serve as the central point of contact for all project stakeholders. During beta and pilot phases, you will engage directly with end customers, resellers, and partners — coordinating device installation with field services, monitoring performance, gathering feedback, and driving resolution of issues before broader launch. Post-launch, you will own 90-day review cycles, tracking unit sales, monthly recurring revenue, warranty and return rates, and support case volumes to confirm the product is performing to standard. You will work closely with engineering, product management, marketing, sales, and operations teams to keep all workstreams aligned and accountable throughout the program.

To be successful in this role you will be an experienced program manager who has operated within a structured, gated product development system — one where program health is reviewed periodically against requirements, resource plans, and delivery milestones across all functions, not just engineering. You know how to manage a critical path, negotiate scope when schedules slip, and bring clarity to ambiguous situations without defaulting to escalation. In addition, the successful candidate will bring executive presence and polished communication skills — you will represent Geotab directly in customer-facing engagements and leadership reviews, and your ability to communicate clearly and professionally is a core part of the role.

  • Drive product initiatives throughout the full program lifecycle from conception to release, remaining accountable for timely delivery of all milestones.

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables; create and manage program timelines and schedules to ensure successful delivery within desired parameters.

  • Support complex, multi-disciplinary programs involving coordination across engineering, marketing, sales, and operations — ensuring vision alignment and accountability for all deliverables.

  • Lead project meetings, maintain detailed meeting minutes, and follow up on all action items to keep programs on track.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders on all project-related aspects; prepare and present regular progress reports to sponsors and senior management.

  • Analyze project issues and develop solutions; anticipate potential problems and proactively address them before they affect delivery.

  • Manage beta and pilot fleet programs with end customers — coordinating installation, monitoring device performance, gathering feedback, and driving resolution of field issues.

  • Conduct post-launch reviews (including 90-day milestones) tracking unit sales, MRR, warranty/return rates, and support case volumes to confirm product health.

  • Engage in establishing best practices, templates, and tools to enhance organizational program delivery capabilities.

  •  Minimum 3–5 years of experience in program or project management within a technology or engineering organization, with a proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful program throughout its lifecycle.

  • Post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Business Management, or a related field; graduate degree or equivalent experience preferred.

  • Professional Project Management certification (PMP) strongly preferred; Agile/Scrum (PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent) is an asset.

  • Hands-on Jira experience for managing work, tracking program progress, and coordinating across teams.

  • Proficiency in Gantt charting and critical path management using any tool (Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Excel, or equivalent).

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers, resellers, partners, and senior leadership.

  • Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) proficiency; familiarity with AI tools is a meaningful asset.

  • Highly organized, able to manage multiple programs simultaneously, and comfortable operating under pressure in a fast-changing environment.

If you got this far, we hope you're feeling excited about this role! Even if you don't feel you meet every single requirement, we still encourage you to apply.
