- Bachelor’s degree, 10 years of experience in engineering, project/program management, operations, or supply chain/logistics or an Advanced degree with 7 years of experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Human Factors, Business or Management
- Experience within Pratt & Whitney Military Engines organizational structures
- Experience with PowerBI, PowerAutomate, SharePoint
  ERP/CMMS data analysis experience
- AGILE project management experience
- Active Security Clearance

RTX is a provider of SkillBridge Fellowship opportunities for transitioning service members to gain an in-depth understanding of the aerospace and defense business from some of the most respected leaders and engineers in the industry. SkillBridge fellows will not be eligible for any compensation during their fellowship, as they will continue to receive all military pay and benefits. Upon successful completion of this fellowship, you will be well prepared and encouraged to apply for open positions listed on our careers page.

Responsibilities

Training & mentorship opportunities include, but are not limited to: 

• Responsibilities: Support and lead cross-functional teams focused on identifying, containing, and resolving data integrity issues affecting F135 fleet readiness, airworthiness, and flight safety.

• Expectations of the Role: Apply systems-level thinking, root cause analysis, and technical leadership to investigate issues, determine corrective actions, and support sustainable solutions.

• Leadership & Collaboration: Work across engineering, quality, logistics, sustainment, program leadership, and government partners, including the F-35 Joint Program Office.

• Communication: Support issue-status reporting, technical findings, metrics, corrective-action plans, and stakeholder briefings.

IAW DoDI 1322.29, as a SkillBridge participant, you will not be an RTX employee and will remain under the administrative control of your military chain of command. Therefore, you will not receive any form of compensation for your work. Additionally, any type of benefits that the company offers its regular employees such as, but not limited to, health benefits, holiday pay, vacation pay, sick leave, and retirement benefits, will not be available to SkillBridge participants.

RTX anticipates the application window closing approximately 40 days from the date the notice was posted. However, factors such as candidate flow and business necessity may require RTX to shorten or extend the application window.
