About the Role

~1 min read

The core product at GlossGenius is changing from a set of tools that service businesses use, to a system that works on their behalf. The PM in this role will own a meaningful piece of that transition: whether that's turning scheduling into an intelligent, revenue-recovering product that anticipates user needs before they surface, or building the infrastructure that lets larger, multi-location businesses run without friction. This is a high-ownership role with a direct line to company revenue growth, you'll define what the next generation of the product looks like, drive it from concept to launch, and use AI as a core part of how you build, research, and decide. We move fast here. Decisions get made and shipped in days, not quarters, and the expectation is that you're setting the pace, not keeping up with it.

You must be commutable to our NYC headquarters and will operate in an in-person environment. We default to being in-office 3–4 days per week with required attendance on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Responsibilities

  • Define what the next generation of the product looks like: scheduling intelligence that recovers lost revenue, upmarket infrastructure for businesses managing teams and multiple locations, or net-new capabilities that didn't exist before
  • Deliver AI-native product experiences rather than just adding features with AI; take ownership of the roadmap to enhance our core product, making it smarter, more proactive, and more capable than competitors
  • Drive end-to-end product execution from concept to launch with urgency and precision, treating velocity as a product value, not a side effect
  • Use AI throughout your own workflow  for research synthesis, competitive analysis, spec writing, and decision-making, and hold a higher output bar because of it
  • Own a continuous improvement loop using data, customer feedback, and performance signals to keep the product compounding week over week
  • Align and energize cross-functional teams across Design, Engineering, Research, Marketing, and Analytics to execute at high velocity without losing coherence
  • Communicate strategy, priorities, and learnings clearly across the company, influencing from execs to frontline teams
  • 3+ years of product management experience with a track record of owning complex, high-impact product areas end-to-end, not contributing to a team that owned them
  • Already using AI as a structural part of how you work: for synthesis, spec writing, competitive research, and decision-making, with a clear point of view on what AI makes possible in the product itself
  • Default to action: you set a direction, ship something, and course-correct based on what you learn; you don't wait for full alignment before moving
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify what's actually driving outcomes and use quantitative signals to prioritize decisions, not just validate them
  • Technical and design fluency; comfortable discussing architecture trade-offs with engineers and pushing back on design decisions with a clear rationale
  • Thrives with ownership and limited process; energized by a blank canvas, doesn't need structure to do their best work, and treats ambiguity as the job, not an obstacle to it
