About the Role

~1 min read

The core product at Genius AI is changing from a set of tools that service businesses use, to a system that works on their behalf. Our upmarket motion is the biggest expression of that shift: we're going after multi-location businesses today and enterprise next, which more than triples our addressable market. This team is unusual in that it works across every codebase in the company, hunting for the highest-leverage opportunities to build value for larger, more complex businesses. That spans team management (payroll, shift management), payments (memberships and loyalty), scheduling (advanced booking logic, kiosks), marketing, data transfer that lets businesses port their history over from another system, and the ongoing fundamentals of our multi-location product.

You must be commutable to our NYC headquarters and will operate in an in-person environment. We default to being in-office 3–4 days per week with required attendance on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Responsibilities

  • Own feature areas within the Upmarket squad's roadmap and take them from problem definition to launch
  • Work across codebases and alongside other product teams to find the highest-value opportunities for multi-location and enterprise businesses, rather than staying inside one surface
  • Partner directly with owners, multi-location operators, managers, and frontline staff to understand how they run their businesses today, and turn that research into product decisions
  • Work closely with Sales to operationalize and sell new features: pricing and packaging inputs, enablement, and closing the loop between deal feedback and the roadmap
  • Drive execution with urgency and precision, treating velocity as a value, not a side effect
  • Use AI throughout your own workflow for research synthesis, competitive analysis, spec writing, and decision-making, and hold a higher output bar because of it
  • Own a continuous improvement loop using adoption data, customer feedback, and revenue signals to keep the upmarket product compounding week over week
  • Keep building out the fundamentals of our multi-location product, so each new capability lands on solid ground
  • 1-3 years of product management experience building for customers with highly operational workflows — businesses where software runs the day, not just measures it
  • Already using AI as a structural part of how you work: for synthesis, spec writing, competitive research, and decision-making, with a clear point of view on what AI makes possible in complex, data-heavy workflows
  • Default to action: you set a direction, ship something, and course-correct based on what you learn; you don't wait for full alignment before moving
  • Cares about the craft of product and has a strong, defensible point of view on what makes a product great — you can articulate why something is good, not just that it works
  • Deep empathy for customers operating under real time and financial pressure, backed by a track record of doing research directly with operators, owners, managers, or frontline staff
  • Comfortable working with Sales on commercialization, pricing and packaging inputs, enablement, and translating deal feedback into roadmap decisions
  • Worked cross-functionally with Operations, CX, Sales, and Design to ship things that actually stuck, not just handed off a spec
  • Experience at startups or other high-ownership environments where you owned outcomes without a big team behind you
