Who we are:
GoMaterials is one of Canada's fastest-growing companies, recognized by Deloitte, the Globe & Mail, and the Lazaridis Scaleup Program. We’re revolutionizing how landscape contractors source plant and hardscape materials through a B2B marketplace that simplifies procurement in a traditionally outdated industry. Since our inception, we have helped landscapers save time, money, and stress and plant over 1.5 million plants and trees. Led by a young and eager group of entrepreneurs, GoMaterials is aggressively expanding across North America. We are therefore looking for amazing people to add to our team!

About the role:
We’re looking for a curious, detail-oriented Product & AI Automation Intern to support our product discovery, documentation, and automation efforts. This role is ideal for a student who enjoys research, structured thinking, and experimenting with AI tools to improve how teams work. •
  • User Research:
  • Tag, organize, and summarize user research recordings to surface key insights and recurring themes.
  • Support user discovery initiatives by coordinating research sessions, preparing materials, and documenting outcomes.
  • Help synthesize qualitative findings into actionable takeaways for the product team.
  •
  • AI Automation:
  • Identify manual or repetitive processes across product and company operations that are suitable for automation.
  • Build, test, and maintain automated workflows using tools such as Claude Code, Zapier, and other AI or no-code/low-code tools.
  • Automate tasks including data entry, reporting, notifications, and internal operational workflows.
  • Document automation processes and support team members in adopting new tools and workflows.
  • Currently enrolled in a Computer Science or related program.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Interest in product development, user research, and process optimization.
  • Comfort working with documentation, structured thinking, and new tools.
