Goodwill Industries of Tenneva is hiring a Maintenance Technician to help keep our retail stores, donation centers, warehouses, and administrative buildings safe, functional, and welcoming.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance and repairs including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and mechanical work
- Complete routine inspections and preventative maintenance on facilities and equipment
- Respond to maintenance requests and emergency repair needs in a timely manner
- Safely operate tools, equipment, vehicles, and material handling equipment
- Assist with construction, renovation, and facility improvement projects
- Maintain grounds and support overall facility appearance and safety
- Coordinate materials and supplies needed for repair and maintenance work
- Follow OSHA safety standards and Goodwill safety procedures
- Travel between multiple Goodwill locations as needed
- Provide excellent customer service to internal teams and external customers
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in facility maintenance, construction, or a skilled trade preferred
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required
- Must meet Goodwill insurability requirements to operate company vehicles
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Working knowledge of maintenance tools, equipment, and building systems
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 100 pounds
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather and conditions

Location: Tri-Cities Region (TN/VA)
Schedule: Full-time | Day Shift
Some evenings, weekends, or emergency response work may occasionally be required.
