What You'll do:

We are looking for a Senior Automation QA Engineer who will take end-to-end ownership of QA automation within the Solutions team. This role is responsible for defining automation strategy, building automation solutions from scratch, and scaling automation practices across products, clients, and teams.

You will combine hands-on technical work with strategic decision-making, ensuring automation delivers real business value. Over time, you will play a key role in building and mentoring an Automation QA team and establishing standards that scale with the organization.

Designing, implementing, and maintaining a completely new automated testing framework

Selecting tools, technologies, and best practices for automated testing

Owning automation code and QA standards, ensuring scalability and sustainability

Analyzing test results and continuously improving product quality

Identifying opportunities to enhance QA processes and test coverage

Integrating automation tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensuring their scalability and reliability

Participating in technical interviews and candidate assessments

Mentoring and onboarding new Automation QA team members

Assessing the feasibility and ROI of automation per project

Defining scope and priorities for automation initiatives

Planning implementation and scaling of automation solutions

Aligning automation approaches with business goals and client needs

Leading and developing the Automation QA team, including both local and remote team members

Taking long-term responsibility for establishing, applying, scaling, and continuously improving automation standards across multiple clients and projects

5+ years of experience in automation testing

Proven experience building automation frameworks from scratch

Ability to make independent technical and strategic decisions related to automation

Strong knowledge of at least one programming language (Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python)

Experience with:

Selenium, Playwright, Cucumber, and/or Cypress

CI/CD integration of automated tests

API testing (Postman or similar)

Test management tools (Jira, Xray, or similar)

Git

Ability to adapt QA and automation strategies to different products, technologies, and teams

Experience in leading, mentoring, and onboarding new Automation QA team members

Strong communication skills and advanced English proficiency

Preferred / Bonus

Advanced experience in CI/CD integration of automated tests

Backend/API testing (REST services, databases, Postman, SoapUI)

Experience working in multi-location teams (remote/hybrid environments)

Participation in technical interviews and candidate evaluations
