About the Role
~1 min readWe're hiring a Software Engineer (Product) to help build GovDash's core product experiences. This role is for engineers who enjoy working across the stack, owning product features end-to-end, and shipping high-quality software that customers rely on every day.
You'll contribute to multiple product areas over time, building reusable systems, intuitive user interfaces, and reliable backend services that power mission‑critical workflows for government contractors. While teams may focus on different domains, this role is centered on full‑stack product development, customer impact, and strong engineering fundamentals.
This role has a $160,000 base salary plus equity and is based in New York City.

Engineers may work with one or more of the following teams over time:
Help customers identify, evaluate, and prepare for upcoming government opportunities through early‑stage capture workflows and pipeline management.
Focus on data‑driven product features, scalable backend services, and actionable insights that inform pursuit decisions.
Build tools that help customers draft, review, and refine government proposals using human-in-the-loop design patterns and AI workflows that cite relevant sources.
Focus on usability, testing frameworks, and feedback loops that build user trust by evaluating quality and enforcing clarity, compliance, and accuracy.
Support active contract management workflows, including deliverable tracking, modification management, and past performance writeups.
Focus on building usable, straightforward products that simplify complex operational workflows and leverage AI to help contract teams execute on government work.
Build Dash, GovDash's AI teammate that orchestrates sub‑agents to research, write, analyze, and execute work directly in customer workflows.
Focus on orchestration, automations, and integrations with external systems (Microsoft Graph API, Salesforce, Google Drive, and more).
Build context management systems that give users full visibility and control over how their documents and records (people, companies, agencies) are used by AI workflows across the platform.
Focus on clear UX that puts users in control, robust data modeling that keeps context organized and filterable, and clean APIs that make it easy to access relevant data across the platform.
