Architect I

Role Summary

To Supervise the daily functions of the CAD Technicians and trainee draughtsman in executing assigned projects. To prepare projects for further execution.

Role and Responsibilities

1. Oversees the preparation of construction document specification and contracts.

2. Liaise with other Ministries/Department/Contractors and assigned project to ensure continuous communication.

3. Conduct site visit and collects field data as necessary

4. Prepare building plans to ensure that they are to the required Government and building regulations standards.

6. Supervises and reviews outsourced Government projects

7. Assist in supervising assigned staff.

8. Perform any other related duties as required by supervisor or any other senior officer in order to contribute to the effectiveness and efficiency of the department. 

Minimum Qualifications and Experiences 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or a related area

• One (1) to two (2) years working experience in a related area

   

Knowledge and Skills

• Good knowledge of Government structure, policies and procedures

• Good knowledge in Project Management

• Sound knowledge of computer Software such as AutoCAD

• Sound knowledge of Total Quality Management

• Good knowledge of relevant computer software applications

• Sound analytical and decision-making skills

• Good oral and written communication skills

• Good Interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a team player

• Good Supervisory and management skills
