Guidacent is seeking a Functional Implementation Specialist to help our public sector client with a migration to Epic. The Functional Implementation Specialist supports the design, build, and optimization of Epic workflows across clinical and operational domains.

Responsibilities

→Gather and analyze clinical and operational requirements
→Configure Epic modules (e.g., Ambulatory, Inpatient, Orders, ClinDoc, Cadence)
→Design and optimize clinical workflows, order sets, and documentation templates
→Collaborate with clinicians and SMEs to align workflows to best practices
→Support testing (unit, integration, UAT) and go-live readiness
→Assist with workflow standardization across agencies

Requirements

Epic certification in relevant modules
Experience supporting Epic build and workflow design
Strong understanding of healthcare operations and clinical workflows
