Full-Stack AI Engineering: Write robust Python/TypeScript code, design SQL schemas, build lightweight frontend interfaces, and engineer REST API / webhook integrations.

LLM & Agentic Architecture: Implement LLM tool-calling, structured JSON outputs, prompt engineering, retrieval mechanisms, and evaluation pipelines—balancing when to use an AI agent versus a deterministic conventional workflow.

Production Operations & Hygiene: Deploy hosted applications, manage secrets/credentials, establish logging/alerting baselines, maintain Git version control, and author SOPs/runbooks for seamless engineering handoffs.

Agile Backlog & Delivery: Maintain a prioritized product backlog with Tim, establish MVP scope boundaries, and present working production code during weekly demos.

Production Engineering Depth: 3+ years building, shipping, and supporting production software systems end-to-end.

LLM & AI Stack Proficiency: Production experience with tool-calling, structured outputs, prompt evaluation, MCP, and AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex).

Core Technical Stack: Advanced proficiency in Python or TypeScript, SQL, REST APIs, webhooks, authentication protocols, Git workflows, and cloud hosting deployment.

SaaS Integration Mastery: Proven ability to integrate multi-party SaaS platforms through API retries, partial failure handling, rate limiting, and deduplication logic.

Operating Discipline: Strong habits around secret security, data privacy (NDA required; strict prohibition of consumer tools for client data), logging, error recovery, and clear technical documentation.

Schedule Alignment: Ability to work ~20 hours/week with consistent daily overlap during US Pacific Time (PT) hours.
