Role Overview:
As Director of Project Management, you will lead our project management division to sustain commercial success. This senior leadership role requires a proven operator with the ability to oversee multiple high-value construction projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and to exceptional standards. You will play a critical role in driving financial performance, building a culture of excellence, and continuously improving operational effectiveness across the division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Lead and scale the project management division to achieve strategic and commercial objectives, with a strong focus on managing multiple concurrent projects.
- Financial Ownership: Take full responsibility for the division’s P&L, developing and executing strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability.
- Operational Excellence: Optimize project management systems, processes, and workflows to ensure efficiency and consistency across all stages of development.
- Driving Revenue: Lead revenue generation efforts, closing sales and actively managing the revenue pipeline to deliver consistent commercial outcomes.
- Team Development: Build and lead a high-performance team through mentoring, clear accountability, and the creation of structured training and development programs.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for investors, developers, and high-net-worth clients, ensuring transparent communication and exceptional service.
- Quality, Safety, and Compliance: Oversee all project phases to ensure regulatory compliance and that quality and safety standards are consistently exceeded.
- Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Champion innovation and best practices to stay ahead of industry trends and meet the evolving expectations of an elite clientele.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience overseeing multiple construction projects, ideally within luxury real estate or other high-end developments.
- Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated P&L management responsibility.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent project, process, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Fluent in English; Japanese proficiency required (full fluency strongly preferred), and Chinese Mandarin is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline required; Master’s degree and/or certifications such as PMP are a plus.
