Retail Assistant

We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable Retail Assistant to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who learns quickly, works well with others, and is comfortable relocating when business needs require. You will help ensure smooth daily store operations, support customer service excellence, and maintain accurate retail processes. Key Responsibilities Assist customers in a professional, friendly, and helpful manner. Operate and manage POS (Point of Sale) systems and retail software. Process sales transactions, returns, stock checks, and product inquiries. Support merchandising, restocking, and front‑of‑house presentation. Maintain clean, organized, and safe retail areas. Work collaboratively with team members across different branches. Adapt to relocation requirements when assigned to branches nationwide. Support inventory management and accurate documentation. Uphold company values, customer service standards, and operational policies. Requirements Essential Qualifications Minimum A‑Level education. Ability to operate or quickly learn POS systems and retail technologies. Strong communication skills. Fluent English (spoken and written). Willingness and ability to relocate depending on operational needs. Team player with a positive and proactive attitude. Skills & Attributes Technologically competent and willing to learn new systems. Fast learner with good problem‑solving abilities. Reliable, punctual, and committed to excellent customer service. Comfortable working in a busy retail environment. Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well within a team. Preferred (but not required) Knowledge of overhead line equipment or related retail categories. Ability to speak Shona or Ndebele in addition to English.
