The In-Home Aide provides hands-on assistance with ADL's (Activities of Daily Living) and IADL's (Instrumental Activities of Daily Living) to clients in their home.

Qualifications:
- 3-5 years experience working in a home care setting
- Must be able to work 20-30 hours per week
- Must be available for day shifts.
- Must have valid NC Driver's License and Auto Insurance
- Personal means of transportation
- Good interpersonal skills
- Must be very dependable
- Must understand and respect client ethics and confidentiality of care
Job Duties:
- Maintain the home in an optimum state of cleanliness and safety.
- Provide light housekeeping tasks, including such duties as preparation of meals, laundry, shopping.
- Provide hands on assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility, and eating.
- Provide client with assistance with self-administration of medications.
- May assist with monitoring of blood pressure, blood sugar, weight, temperature, pulse, and respirations (if within scope of practice and delegated by a RN).
- Report to the Service Supervisor any incidents or problems related to his or her work, immediately.
- Report any unusual incidents or changes in the client's behavior to the Service Supervisor.
- Follow the client's assigned plan of care.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Supervisor.
