About the Role
~1 min readHealthy Kids Programs is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Generalist to support our Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) programs and the teams who serve children and families throughout our communities.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Support employee relations, conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary documentation.
- →Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and UPK program requirements.
- →Assist employees with benefits enrollment, leave requests, and HR-related questions.
- →Maintain HRIS systems, employee records, and HR reports.
- →Support employee engagement, retention initiatives, and internal communications.
- →Conduct employee orientations, benefits presentations, and HR training sessions.
- →Maintain employee handbook policies and support consistent policy implementation across UPK sites.
- →Partner with site directors and program leadership to address employee concerns and promote a positive workplace culture.
Requirements
Requirements
~1 min read- Minimum 1 year of HR experience, generalist experience preferred.
- Associate’s degree (or equivalent) in Human Resources or a related field
- Hands-on experience administering HRIS/HRIMS systems (Paylocity, ADP, Paychex, or similar), including employee record management, reporting, workflow administration, and system configuration
- Strong public speaking and presentation skills; comfortable leading workshops, orientations, and team meetings
- Excellent organizational skills with consistent follow-through
- Experience managing employee conflicts and performance discussions
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Discretion in handling confidential information
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be a self-starter
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
